Asics GEL Cumulus 12 Running Shoe Review
The Asics Cumulus contains multiple technological advances to ensure it provides a smooth, cushioned ride for its users. The outsole is designed with Asics Impact Guidance System, which eases the transition from heel to toe-off while minimizing shock from impact.
The shoe is literally surrounded with memory foam. Memory foam is found in the heel, sock liner, and the midsole all the way through the toe box. This allows the shoe to mold to your specific foot, and minimize irritating pressure points during your run.
To make a cushioned shoe even softer, the designers extended the GEL system throughout the feel, resulting in a smoother ride.
Memory foam was improved throughout the heel, and extended through the end of the shoe, providing a tighter fit that is molded to your foot.
Some runners experienced blistering in their heels with the Asics Cumulus 11. To combat this criticism, the Asics Cumulus 12 has a slightly lower heel line which helped reduce discomfort.
