New Balance Trail Running
I'm going out of town this weekend to go see some petroglyphs with the folks. We may have to walk up to a mile or two to get to the site due to some new vehicle restrictions that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) just put into place. We did get the BLM's permission to walk up to the site.
The problem is that I have mild cp and have knee/ankle issues as well as muscle spasm issues and I believe that I could run into some possible complications with the walk and I'd rather not slow down the family if possible. I prefer to have something on hand that I can lean on (from time to time) to support my weight (255 lbs) and will improve my balance while walking. I believe that a trekking pole will be helpful. The terrain/trail will be either dirt or very light rock (nothing difficult) and should be a fairly flat ground.
Any advice of what type of trekking pole will work best for me?
Just go to any good, large, outdoor centre, and they should have a large variety of trekking poles.

Thursday Oct. 25* Those interested in donated candy or money to Linton's Annual Spookfest can drop donations off at Markles Music, located on Main Street in Linton.
