I’ve been looking for these shoes for several months.

did I buy the wrong type of shoe?

I have pretty low arches and I overpronate a good deal. A couple months ago I bought a pair of Under Armour Spectre running shoes, but now I have the feeling that they're not the right type. On UA's website it says the Spectre shoes are for "runners

Ignore that pronation BS. You should start building solid, strong muscles in your feet and build higher arches. You can do this by wearing less shoe. Overpronation is caused because you wore shoes all your life and your foot structure became so weak.
