No paper Thursday
Give thanks, readers, give thanks. The Ranger will not publish this Thursday, Nov. 22, in observance of Thanksgiving Day.
By that we mean give thanks for the holiday, not the absence of the newspaper for a day.
We will be back as usual Friday, Nov. 23, and our weekend publication schedule will not be affected.
Packed press room
On a related note, this Sunday's Ranger will not include its usual Diversions section. Missing a Thursday in the Ranger press room chucks the proverbial monkey wrench into our normal printing schedule.
As some readers will recall, Diversions is printed on Thursday morning for Sunday publication. That's also the day our affiliated newspapers the Wind River News, the Shoshoni Pioneer and the Dubois Frontier all come off the press. Wednesday's typical press day includes two sections of the Lander Journal and the Thermopolis Independent Record, while Friday brings the big EXTRA! press run.
