Jordan Brand Girls "Strawberry Splash Pack" - Fall 2011 | Sneaker ...
Earlier today we showed you an Air Jordan 5 for the ladies that’s scheduled to release later this year in what’s been dubbed the “Strawberry Splash Pack”. At the time we had no idea what else the pack contained, but now thanks to SneakerNews we’re able to piece it all together. Belonging to Jordan Brand’s Fall 2011 collection, the Strawberry Splash Pack is a 4-sneaker containing the Air Jordan 5 Retro, the Air Jordan 1 Phat, the Jordan Sky High Lo and the Jordan Courtside Flip. The Jordan 5, Jordan 1, and the Jordan Sky High Lo all have similar White/Legacy Red-Scarlet Fire colorways, while the Courtside Flip takes a much darker approach in a Black/Scarlet Fire-Medium Grey color scheme. These catalog scans aren’t much to view really, but it at least fills us in on what exactly Jordan Brand is planning for the months.
Why cant these be an everybody release JB? Love those 5′s in that colorway. Me and my girl like to rock the same sneakers except i cant cause there not a mens or womens release. She usually gets to rock mine . These cant be a kids release cause i would cop 3 out of the 4 sneakers in my size x 2. To many times yall released colors ive would have coped in a mens size. Spizikes, 6 rings, Jordan 1′s , 2′s and 13′s along with many others. Purple , Pink, Strawberry i like the colors too. Pleeeease JB make these an everyone release. : (

A Summer of Freedoms in Boyhood
But the title is inescapable: it greets you before you have even started watching the movie, more or less setting you on a narrative path. The title suggests that the child is a girl, one who dresses in plain shirts, shorts and sneakers without a touch of pink or a Hello Kitty backpack. Does that make her a tomboy? Does her haircut, the hint of a swagger, the curl of a lip or how we read these directorial choices? The movie tells us that this is a tomboy, and so we may see a tomboy (or a filmmaking idea). Early on, when she introduces herself as Mikael to a girl, Lisa (Jeanne Disson), you might wonder about the name — short for Mikaela? — if not much more about the exchange.
A shot of the child taking a bath confirms the obvious, though her mother summoning her to dinner and calling her Laure provides a tiny surprise: she lied. (It may also cross your mind that French filmmakers are more relaxed when it comes to child nudity than their American counterparts, though here the nudity isn’t easygoing but didactic.) Laure, played by an appealing, unmannered newcomer, Zoé Heran , has just moved into a new apartment with her father, pregnant mother and younger sister. It’s summer, the days are long and the quarter is swarming with potential playmates, innocents who — given Laure’s fib and given, too, the gathering unease — your fear may transform into vicious proxies for an intolerant world, filling Laure’s days (and this movie) with tears or worse.
Why do a lot of girls wear sneakers that are too big?
Why is it that a lot of girls wear sneakers that seem to be way too big for them - aren't they uncomfortable and difficult to keep on? And why do some have different colored laces in each shoe and I've even seen some girls wearing different colored socks
It's a fashion statement. The different colored socks are to stand out and at times get attention. I remember when girls i knew did this in high school. The different colored laces is usually to match with their outfit or make the shoes look "tight"
