Jordan Brand Girls "Strawberry Splash Pack" - Fall 2011 | Sneaker ...
Earlier today we showed you an Air Jordan 5 for the ladies that’s scheduled to release later this year in what’s been dubbed the “Strawberry Splash Pack”. At the time we had no idea what else the pack contained, but now thanks to SneakerNews we’re able to piece it all together. Belonging to Jordan Brand’s Fall 2011 collection, the Strawberry Splash Pack is a 4-sneaker containing the Air Jordan 5 Retro, the Air Jordan 1 Phat, the Jordan Sky High Lo and the Jordan Courtside Flip. The Jordan 5, Jordan 1, and the Jordan Sky High Lo all have similar White/Legacy Red-Scarlet Fire colorways, while the Courtside Flip takes a much darker approach in a Black/Scarlet Fire-Medium Grey color scheme. These catalog scans aren’t much to view really, but it at least fills us in on what exactly Jordan Brand is planning for the months.
Why cant these be an everybody release JB? Love those 5′s in that colorway. Me and my girl like to rock the same sneakers except i cant cause there not a mens or womens release. She usually gets to rock mine . These cant be a kids release cause i would cop 3 out of the 4 sneakers in my size x 2. To many times yall released colors ive would have coped in a mens size. Spizikes, 6 rings, Jordan 1′s , 2′s and 13′s along with many others. Purple , Pink, Strawberry i like the colors too. Pleeeease JB make these an everyone release. : (

Dressing young girls to appear their age
The age-old question has taken on new meaning in an era of bikinis for babies and skinny jeans for 6-year-olds channeling Suri Cruise.
Across the U.S., mommy bloggers, educators, and parents say the mature designs for little girls are hard to avoid these days, with even stores such as Forever 21 offering to dress their darling daughters.
"What a challenge it is for a parent to hold your ground," said Cynthia Kalogeropoulos, principal of Grove Elementary School in Barrington, Ill. "I don't even know if parents have a choice. You're not going to find a pair of Bermudas."
Retail experts confirm that parents aren't imagining the trend. While many adult clothing makers entered the children's apparel industry between 2002 and 2006 offering trendsetting designs not seen before for that age group, the economic downturn put growth of the market on hold. That momentum has picked up again as the economy bounces back, prompting pint-size designer duds at boutiques and trendy knock-offs at discount stores, according to Marshal Cohen, chief analyst for the NPD Group in New York.
