Here we get a preview of Gourmet Footwear with its Spring 2011 collection now. They’ve got the entire spectrum covered here, ranging from the simple understated looks that have become the default of late, all the way to a wild Gourmet il Due that could pass for a super high-end handbag when zipped. There’s a vivid yellow new Cinque lowtop and new colorways for the 26 and 28, the former of which almost feels like an updated Ice Cream Board Flip. Check follow with whole look of these Gourmet sneakers.
Gourmet: Gourmet Footwear: Men's Footwear: Gourmet: Gourmet Footwear: Gourmet is a brand that truly defies categorization. Above All, cornerstones influences are Italian and Italian-American culture. From old World Italy and its grand tradition of men's wear tailoring with luxe fabrics and trends that have driven the fashion market, to Italians in the metropolitan enclaves across the USA at batting cages and local giglio feasts wearing sweatpants with an undeniable swagger; Gourmet is all of the above. For Years, refined Italian and casual all-American men's looks have been imitated, rehashed, reworked and reinterpreted season after season but never before have the collided as they do in gourmet. This is a new, revolutionary, remixed laid back luxury inspired by Italian culture, food, religion and music. Gourmet is both high and low, style forward yet familiar, chic and Gauche. Each Piece - From footwear to apparel - Possesses an understated complexity that underlies Gourmet's high concept DNA....

ROCHESTER — On Saturday, Aug. 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Lone Oak Ice Cream at 175 Milton Road (Route 125) will be celebrating its 50th anniversary. There will be hot dogs, Capt'n Eli's root beer floats, cotton candy, face painting, giveaways, Jim the Balloon Guy, fun activities and more.
There will also be a raffle, giving a chance to win a Flow snowboard signed by snowboarder Scotty Lago, who took a bronze medal at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Scotty is the grandson of Lone Oak's owner, Michael Lago. All proceeds will benefit St. Charles Children's Home.
According to Manager Kenneth Viel, Lone Oak was started in 1962 by Ernest and Vasilia Bellemeur. Their family operated it until 1976, when they sold Lone Oak to the Lago family, who still own and operate it today.
When Lone Oak first opened, the main route to the Mount Washington Valley passed by, with tourists heading north on a Friday, and coming back on a Sunday, ensuring a steady flow of customers.
